Team AktivX
Meet Team AktivX (2022/2023), the spirited Swedish Amateur Cross-Country Ski Team.
– Nicklas Hedin, hailing from sunny Karlstad, balances his property development role with a passion for road and mountain biking, now focusing on improving his cross-country skiing.
– Anders Holmén, an innovative force in medical research, brings his Ski Classic experience to the team, managing their medical needs.
– Eric Ceder, the youngest but experienced, leads as Team Captain, steering the group through tough Ski Classic competitions.
– Anders Schoster, Head of Supply Network Quality, stands out as the team’s strongest skier, while
– Martin Henriksson adds laughter and energy, bringing routine from races like Vasaloppet.

Asbjørn Boye
Introducing Asbjørn Boye, our BRIX Maple Energy Gel Ambassador from Denmark.
Asbjørn is a passionate biathlete competing for the Danish junior national team. With over seven years of biathlon and a decade in cross-country skiing, he embraces the challenges of precision shooting and high-speed skiing.
The dynamic photo captures Asbjørn during the 2023 IBU Regional Event sprint race, where he secured an impressive 11th place in the Men’s 18-19 age group.

Danish Skimarathon Team
Danish Skimarathon Team is the first Pro Team from Denmark to compete at Ski Classics.
Meet the international mix of skilled skiers from the 2022/2023 team:
– Margeaux Thompson brings elite lightweight rowing and cycling experience from Australia. Based in Austria, she uses mountain running as summer cross-training and sees Ski Classics as her next thrilling challenge.
– Ella Jackson, represents the Australian National XC Ski Team and is pursuing marathon racing in her ski career. Outside of skiing, she is currently a university student in Australia.
– Bjørn Toft, a physiotherapist and sports & medicine therapist, owns a clinic in Switzerland. With a background in road cycling, he started XC skiing in the early 2000s, making it his primary sport.
– Joachim Trane, a former national champion in XC mountain biking, transitioned to skiing in 2014. He’s achieved top national levels in Danish XC skiing and roller skiing while working as a scientist in the pharmaceutical industry.
– Sune Elmose, an elite volleyball player, is a teacher in adventure sports. The fastest Dane at Vasaloppet 2022, Sune holds the all-time best placement for a Dane at Red Bull Nordenskiöldsloppet (220 km).

Jenny Ljungberg
Meet Jenny Ljungberg, our resilient ambassador and cyclist extraordinaire, proudly supported by Sweden-Canada Products. Diagnosed with MS in 2011, Jenny defies the odds, leading a full life thanks to breakthroughs in Swedish neurology research.
Passionate about cycling, Jenny initiated the “Neuroförbundet on tour” fundraising project, cycling 4,000 km from Kiruna to Stockholm, visiting 40 Neuroförbund locations. We’re thrilled to have fueled Jenny’s journey and look forward to more rides together.

Jesper West
Meet Jesper West, our dedicated BRIX Ambassador representing long-distance skiing. Jesper is an elite skier hailing from Malax, a small Finnish municipality on the Baltic coast, just 20 km south of Vaasa.
Jesper’s journey in long-distance skiing began in 2015, and he has since been a standout participant in numerous European races.
This captivating photo captures him during the 2022 Red Bull Nordenskiöldsloppet, the world’s longest and toughest ski race covering 220 km. Jesper achieved an honorable 44th place out of 512 starting skiers.
For Jesper, BRIX is an essential companion during races, securely stowed in his fluid belt and taped to his legs.
In his words, “Once you’ve tried them, you’ll never race without them again”.

Johan Borgström
Johan is a young road cyclist from Falsterbo, Sweden who initiated his cycling journey in 2012 with Höllviken Cycling Club and blending academic commitment with a passion for cycling.
Representing CK Ringen in Sweden and the Swedish Junior National Team internationally, Johan embraces the challenges of racing across Europe. Transitioning to the U23/Elite class in 2023, he aspires to make a career as a professional cyclist.

Nicklas Holm Bols
Meet Nicklas Holm Bols, elite mountain biker from Rold Skov, Denmark. By day, he’s a dedicated carpenter, but his true passion lies in conquering mountain biking at an elite level since 2014.
Nicklas, a participant in WC and EC Cross Country Marathons, secured an honourable 16th place in the “Men Elite” group during the 2022 Danish XC league.
